Privacy.

LAST UPDATED · 2026.10.23

Automoat is a venture of Promoat Group, operated by Left Lane Tech Inc. (“Automoat”, “we”). This policy covers this website, automoat.ai, and the Automoat app: the web app at app.automoat.ai and the Automoat phone app.

This website

What we collect

When you submit a contact form or founding-cohort application, or book an Ops Call, we collect what you give us: name, email, company and any message. We also keep a salted hash of your IP address and browser for spam control, never the raw values.

How we use it

To answer your message, schedule a call, assess fit, or follow up on your application. We don't sell, rent or share submissions.

Who processes it

The site is hosted on Vercel. Neon hosts its database, Resend delivers its email, TidyCal handles call booking and Google reCAPTCHA screens forms for spam.

Cookies

One session cookie, used only to sign in to the site's /admin area. The public site sets no analytics or tracking cookies.

The Automoat app

How it works

Automoat runs AI agents for businesses. Each business has a workspace. The business decides which mailboxes, documents and other sources its workspace connects, and who can use it. Agents read that information and prepare work, such as draft replies and reminders. Nothing is sent until a person approves it. We handle workspace information on the business's behalf and on its instructions.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, your work email, and the workspace and role your admin gives you. You sign in with your company's Microsoft or Google account or an email link, so we never see the password for those accounts.
  • Workspace content: what the workspace's agents work on: email from connected mailboxes, drafts and cards, open loops and reminders, agendas, documents and notes people add, and a record of who decided what and when. Questions asked in Ask are sent to the AI model to be answered and are not kept.
  • The phone app: a notification token for your phone, its platform, the app and system versions, and your notification settings. If the app hits an error, it sends a report with the error, the screen and the app version, but no workspace content and nothing that names you.

We don't collect your location, contacts or photos (other than documents you choose to upload). The apps have no advertising, no analytics tools and no advertising identifier, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use it

  • To run your workspace: agents read, draft and propose, and people approve.
  • To sign you in and keep each workspace separate from every other.
  • To send the notifications you turn on: new cards, the morning agenda, reminders and problems.
  • To keep the service working and secure: error reports, audit records and health checks.

We don't sell personal information and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it

  • Google Cloud: hosting, databases, sign-in, document storage, search and Gemini AI models.
  • Anthropic: Claude AI models, which read workspace content to draft and propose work.
  • Microsoft: the workspace's connected mailbox, through Microsoft's mail service.
  • Telegram: only when a workspace uses Telegram as its chat app for cards.
  • Expo and Apple: delivering notifications to your phone. A notification shows the agent's name and the card's title, and that text passes through these services.

We use the AI providers under business terms that don't let them train their models on workspace content.

How long we keep it

  • Workspace content is kept while the workspace is active, and deleted when the business asks or leaves Automoat.
  • A phone's notification token is deleted when you sign out on that phone, or after 90 days without use.
  • App error reports are deleted after 30 days.

Your choices in the app

  • Turn notifications off in the phone app (Workspace, Notifications) or in your phone's settings.
  • Sign out to remove your phone from notifications.
  • Ask your workspace admin to change or remove your access. There is no sign-up in the apps; admins add and remove people.

Your rights

To see, correct or delete your personal information, from the website or the app, email support@automoat.ai. We answer within 30 days. Requests about workspace content go to the business that owns the workspace, and we help them carry it out.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each workspace's content is kept in its own database. App sign-in goes through your company's own account, and the phone app can be locked with Face ID.

Children

Automoat is a business service. It isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date above and tell workspace admins about any important change.
